As sad as we are to see summer wind down – we’re consoling ourselves by planning the next season’s min-breaks! These soothing Autumn getaways are at the top of our list to recharge our plant life balance as the weather starts to cool down.

  1. The Enchanted Cave, Bilpin

The view across the Blue Mountains from this luxury cave for two is just sensational! While the enchanted cave is out of most people budgets, it’s definitely one-of-a-kind accomodation just a couple of hours drive from Sydney.

Activities: Apple picking, apple eating, cider drinking, Blue Mountains Botanic Gardens, drive to Jenolan Caves, and so so so many bushwalks around the Blue Mountains.

  1. River Room Treehouse, Bellingen

Chuck a left before you reach Coffs Harbour and treat yourself to a treehouse stay overlooking lush subtropical greenery from every angle.

Activities: Swim in the Never Never River and at Lavenders Bridge, Bellingen Market and Growers Market, plus great hiking and bicycle rides.

This Mexican-inspired log cabin is set in a lush green property a short walk from Smiths Lake, north of Seal Rocks. Skylights and natural timbers combine with the green surrounding here for serious chill.

Perched atop a hill overlooking Kimo valley, near Gundagai, sits JR’s Ecohut. Designed by Luke Stanley Architects, guests enjoy 360-degree views of green with access to local swimming spots and best of all: no neighbours for miles.
