Get to Know Fiddle Leaf Fig

New dwarf varieties have recreated this as an indoor star, but the normal versions can grow to 12m tall.

Fiddle Leaf Figs like lots of light. If you’re starting one indoors, keep it out of direct sunlight. Outdoors it will prefer partial shade.

Water regularly but only once soil has dried out.

It’s completely natural for the Fiddle Leaf’s beautiful big leaves to dry out every now and again. Just snip them from the main plant. Feed monthly from the beginning of spring using a water-based fertiliser.
