Plant Life Balance

Camperdown Commons – Camperdown, NSW

One of our favourite Plant Life Balance places in Sydney’s Inner West.

Once a dilapidated bowling club, Camperdown Commons is now a thriving fully operational urban farm where locals gather to bond over common interests.

Designed with the community at heart, there are plenty of ways to get your hands dirty, whether it’s keeping an eye on what’s growing and in season, participating in the myriad workshops on offer, enjoying a bite at the farm-to-table restaurant or even relaxing at a weekend yoga class. Camperdown Commons offers the quintessential Plant Life Balance experience.

#repost for our partner @pocketcityfarms. Five feathered friends settling into their new home on our farm at @camperdowncommons and they seem very happy! The girls were rescued two weeks ago by @nswhenrescue having been dropped and forgotten about in some thick sludge at the back of the cage egg factory farm on their way to be loaded in. These girls got lucky thanks to the amazing work of Catherine from @nswhenrescue and Sol, their foster carer, who has been nursing them back to health (sadly one of them died the day after rescue as she was too sick, however the rest are doing very well now.) We're looking forward to enjoying their company, their poop and their love of eating pests and scratching soil. 🐓🐓🐓🐓 #pocketcityfarms #factoryfarmchickensnomore #localfarm #fresheggs #education
